State Champs 2023!
Tuesday, December 5 2023 - State Meet (Varsity qualifiers)The Parkview Baptist boys cross country team claimed their third state title in a row at the LHSAA Cross Country Division III Meet held at Northwestern State's Walter Ledet Track Complex in Natchitoches, La on Monday, November 13th.
The Eagles scored a low 28 points and finished ahead of Isidore Newman who was second with 50, while Episcopal (77) and University Lab (132) rounded out the top 4 teams.
Aiden M. claimed the individual state championship with a time of 15:25.2. Kohl F. placed fifth (16:05.7), Ethan D. placed sixth (16:18.3), Caleb W. seventh (16:22) and Reed B. ninth (16:31). All five scoring runners finished in the top ten.
In the girl's race, the Eagles placed seventh as a team out of 18 squads with a score of 204. Brynlie M. led the girl's team finishing 30th with a time of 21:07.3.
