St. Michael Bayou Boogie Recap
Thursday, September 7 2023 - St. Michael’s Bayou Boogie(HS)/St. Jean Vianney Invitational (MS)The Cross Country team opened their season with the St. Michael Bayou Boogie on Saturday, September 2 at Highland Road Park. The boys team finished 3rd out of a field of 27. Leading the charge for the Eagles was Ethan Delatte with a time of 16:18.72 PR(4). Caleb Whipp was the second man in with a time of 16:38.14 (11). The next three scoring runners were Kohl Feucht (17:32.39 (26)), Konner Broussard (18:13.55 (43)), and Andrew Watts (19:17.85 (75). Rounding out the field were DJ Haney (20:50.70 (133)), Cooper Scott (20:52.37 (135)), and Philip Lee (26:41.54 (213)).
The girls varsity team were led by Caroline McCulloch with a solid season opening time of 22:05.17 (32). She was followed by Hannah Begnaud (23:08.00 (51)) and Grace Davis (25:33.16 (96)).
