Episcopal Round Table Run Recap

The Cross Country team was back in action at the Episcopal Round Table Run on Saturday, September 9th at Highland Road Park. The boys team was missing some members due to illness, but still finished 10th out of a field of 42. Leading the charge for the Eagles was Caleb Whipp with a time of 15:54.13 PR (8), Ethan Delatte was the second man in with a time of 16:04.38 PR (10). Both of these times broke the school record, which was over 20 years old! The next three scoring runners were Konner Broussard (16:55.71 (37)), Cooper Albright (18:14.13 PR(111), and Cooper Scott (19:43.61 PR(220). Rounding out the field were DJ Haney (19:49.85 PR(232)), Bruce “Shoeless” Morello (21:16.52 (284)), and Philip Lee (23:17.90 (322)). This was such an exciting race to watch, between the school record being broken by two runners, multiple PRs, and a runner losing a shoe in the first 300m but still finishing the race, this race had it all.
