St. Joseph Academy Invitational Recap
Monday, October 2 2023 - St. Joseph’s Academy Invitational (V, JV)/St. Aloysius XC Invitational (MS)On Saturday, September 30th the Cross Country team was back in action at Highland Road Park for the St. Joseph’s Academy Invitational. The boys team posted a strong 3rd place finish edging out Catholic High and other DI and DII schools for a top three finish. Leading the charge for the Eagles was Aiden Monistere with a time of 15:10.00 PR(3), which shattered the previous school record that he set last week. Caleb Whipp was the second man in with a time of 15:47.80 PR(12). The next three scoring runners were Kohl Feucht (16:10.70 PR(26)), Ethan Delatte (16:13.40 (29)), and Reed Boudreaux (16:42.80 (53)). Rounding out the field were Konner Broussard (17:12.40 (85)) and Cooper Albright (17:54.80 PR(126).
The results of the JV Boys race were Andrew Watts (19:14.32 (46)), Cooper Scott (19:21.95 PR(48)), DJ Haney (21:45.77 (97), and Philip Lee (23:40.00 (125)).
The girls varsity team were led by Caroline McCulloch with a time 21:21.80 PR(79). She was followed by Josie Brooks (21:56.50 (110)), Hannah Begnaud (22:15.00 PR(121)) and Grace Davis (25:42.50 (196)).
The Cross Country team will be back in action Saturday, October 7th at the Catholic High Cross Country Invitational at Highland Road Park.
