Tuesday, October 10 2023 - Catholic High School Invitational (V, JV)/St. Jude Invitational (MS)On Saturday, October 7th, the Cross Country team was back in action at Highland Road Park for the Catholic High School Cross Country Invitational. The boys team posted a strong 3rd place behind Brother Martin and Jesuit and are ranked #1 in the LTFCA Small School Cross Country poll.
Finishing 2nd overall and leading the charge for the eagles was Aiden Monistere with a time of 14:52.00 PR(2), which once again shattered the previous school record that he set last week. Caleb Whipp was the second man in with a time of 15:33.07 PR(18). The next three scoring runners were Kohl F. (15:56.26 PR(31)), Ethan D. (16:04.42 (37)), and Reed B. (16:04.42 PR(38)). Rounding out the field were Konner B. (16:44.80 (74)) and Andrew W. (17:37.37 PR(126).
The results of the JV Boys race were DJ H. (19:29.78 PR(68)), Cooper S. (20:28.66 (98)), and Philip L. (21:33.75 PR(114)).
The girls varsity team were led by Hannah B. with a time 20:39.44 PR(59). She was followed by Caroline M. (21:04.82 (79)), and Grace D. (22:53.22 (144)).
